LYTE scholars participate in our “Bridge to Success” program during high school.

Our “Bridge to Success” program is a comprehensive four-year program supporting students in grades 9–12 as they navigate high school and prepare for postsecondary success.

Each student is paired with a dedicated LYTE advisor who supports them and their family throughout high school.

LYTE’s “Bridge to Success” Program

High School Transition Support

Moving to a high school environment introduces a range of academic and social challenges. At LYTE, our scholars are equipped for success through high school bootcamps, personalized SMART goal-setting, mentorship from older LYTE scholars, and targeted skill-building to thrive in competitive academic settings.

Leadership and Engagement

LYTE empowers students to grow by creating meaningful leadership opportunities that build confidence and inspire positive change. Through intentional connections to extracurricular activities, mentorship, and real-world experiences, students don’t just learn about leadership—they practice it. LYTE goes beyond simply connecting students to opportunities; it actively creates spaces where leadership is discovered, developed, and refined.

Career and College Planning

It’s important for students to begin developing a plan to reach their academic and career goals during high school. We guide students through college and career options that align with their interests and long-term goals.

Academic Rigor

Challenging coursework in high school opens doors to colleges that provide strong financial aid. LYTE encourages students to pursue rigorous classes while also offering free tutoring to support their success.

Summer Enrichment

Internships provide valuable real-world experience, professional development, and networking opportunities. LYTE assists with the identification, application process, and placement for internships and summer academic programs.

College Application Support

Colleges that offer generous financial aid are often the most selective. LYTE has a strong track record of helping students gain admission to these competitive institutions by providing expert support with essay writing, college applications, and the financial aid process.

LYTE hosts a college fair featuring over 20 participating schools to connect students directly with admissions representatives.

Thank you to the high schools supporting our students!
